TL;DR: A loud and gloriously messy retro shooter with a Space Marine who tears through Chaos like a dog chasing a chew toy full of heresy.
Would I play this instead of tidying the kitchen? [Absolutely].

What is it?
Boltgun is a first person shooter set in the Warhammer 40K universe. You play as a veteran Space Marine fighting cultists, daemons and corrupted machines through a mix of industrial bases and warped demon zones. The game aims to capture old school shooter style with modern performance and clear visuals.
How it Plays
You sprint through levels, grab ammo, collect key items and blast everything that moves. Combat is fast and aggressive and rewards constant forward pressure. The Bolter has heavy feedback, and the Chainsword provides brutal close range kills when enemies get too close. Level layouts include secrets, side areas and simple puzzles, which add small breaks between the large combat rooms.
