Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a cooperative third-person shooter set in the Alien universe, where squads of marines confront waves of Xenomorphs across multiple missions and campaigns.

How it Plays

You pick a class (Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, etc.), choose your weapons and perks, then deploy into missions full of alien threats, environmental challenges, and survival tension. The combat mixes horde shooting, objective defense phases, and survival strategy. With a large focus on its co-op backbone, missing team mates are replaced with mostly capable bots at lower difficulties, but they do struggle on higher difficulties. The game shines it brightest when you coordinate with friends. Mission variety is shallow, and the replay loop can feel repetitive if you’ve seen all the mechanics already, but an extensive customisation system, and challenge cards add some variety to proceedings.
